Examining the health of your eyes and determining the best eyewear solutions

As experienced opticians we know how important it is to have regular eye examinations. We recommend at least every 2 years. That is because people are often unaware of eye problems due to lack of obvious warning signs or symptoms. In order to maintain good vision and health, it’s vital to detect and treat any issues as early as possible.

At Hunstanton EyeCare we provide a range of eye tests to examine the health of your eyes and any weaknesses in your visual processes. This allows us to catch any problems and to prescribe the most suitable eyewear, if applicable, for your optical needs.

We do all this by using state-of-the-art equipment to examine every aspect of your eyes and eyesight.

Our standard eye examination focuses on two main aspects of your eyes. Firstly, their health. Secondly, your eyesight. To accurately gauge the health of your eyes we take a close look inside the eye. Here we check for: general health and eye problems including:

• High blood pressure,
• Diabetes,
• Glaucoma,
• Cataracts,
• Macula Degeneration

and various other issues like dry eyes and blepharitis.

To test your eyesight, we precisely measure the ability of your eyes using specialist and highly accurate instruments. The results of these tests allow us find the best lenses to correct defects and thereby provide you with improved eyewear solutions

All the tests we carry out are painless and non-intrusive. You don’t need to worry about a thing. The examination will last approximately 30 minutes.
